ST Pauls supports Operation Christmas Child 2019 with toys made by Northern Beaches Woodturners group

-Christmas gifts for children in need at Christmas

Northern Beaches Woodturners have this year made a hundred and seventy five wooden toys for small boys which will go in the Christmas “shoeboxes” as part of the six to seven hundred boxes being packed by Frenchs Forest Anglican and Uniting Churches and Terrey Hills Anglican Sunday School as part of the ‘Operation Christmas Child’ function of the ‘Samaritans Purse’ global charitable organization.

Pat Watson and Chris Hoschke from Frenchs Forest Anglican Church came down to the Woodturners workshop at Narrabeen RSL club to thank the Woodturners and take delivery of their share of the toys and to explain what Samaritans Purse and Operation Christmas Child are doing this year.

The gift filled shoeboxes this year will be going to disadvantaged children in the Philippines as part of the worldwide distribution of over ten and a half million boxes to children in need in developing countries.
