What We Believe

The message at the heart of Christianity is really quite simple – It is a message from the Bible about God and his son, Jesus. It is about life and death and the choice that we all face.

Meet Our Minister

Hi! My name is Scott Tarrant and it’s my privilege to be the Minister of St Paul’s, Terrey Hills. I am only new to this position (January, 2018) and have greatly appreciated the warm welcome that I and my family have received.

I am married to Debbie who is a secondary school teacher, working in the area of Gifted and Talented Ed. My daughters are Hannah and Amelia who are 16 and 13, respectively.

Prior to arriving at St Paul’s, I served on the Chaplaincy team at The King’s School and have ministered in a couple of Parishes prior to that (Moss Vale and Wahroonga). I would love to meet you and am very happy to do that at any time. You are also welcome to join us on any Sunday from 9:30am. God bless.

-Scott

A Brief History

St Paul’s had its beginnings as a Sunday School under a tree in Terrey Hills in 1940. A retired minister began church services here in 1954. We became part of the parish of Christ Church St Ives in 1964. Our church building was hand built by the members and opened in 1965. After a succession of part-time ministers, our first full-time minister began working with us in 1997.
